2. Our Service & Pricing Model We provide a search interface for vehicle Monroney stickers. When you enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), we transmit that data to our third-party data partners to determine sticker availability.
- Select Free Stickers: Certain original manufacturer window stickers may be available to view or download free of charge, depending on our partner’s specific inventory.
- Paid Stickers: If a free original sticker is not available, you may be offered the option to purchase either an original or a recreated sticker through our partner's website.
- No Guarantee of Free Access: We do not guarantee that a free sticker will be available for any specific vehicle. Availability and pricing are determined solely by our third-party partners.
3. Third-Party Services & Payments For stickers that require payment, you will be directed to a third-party partner. You acknowledge and agree that:
- We do not process payments. Any purchase is a transaction solely between you and the third-party provider.
- Pricing: Prices for stickers are set by the third-party provider and are subject to change.
- Disputes: We are not responsible for billing disputes, refunds, or fulfillment issues. You must contact the third-party provider directly for any support regarding your purchase.
4. Prohibited Conduct & Anti-Scraping You agree to use the Site only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:
- Scraping & Automation: Using any robot, spider, scraper, deep-link, or other automated data gathering or extraction tool, program, algorithm, or methodology to access, acquire, copy, or monitor the Site or any portion of the Site content.
- Bulk Extraction: Systematically retrieving data (including VINs or window stickers) to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without our written permission.
- Bypassing Security: Attempting to circumvent any security measures, including CAPTCHAs, IP bans, or rate limits, that we use to prevent or restrict access to the Site.
- Commercial Use: Reselling, sub-licensing, or redistributing the Monroney stickers or data obtained from the Site for commercial gain.
- Load Testing: Taking any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure or our partner's systems.
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of your access, permanent IP banning, and legal action for damages.
5. Damages for Unauthorized Access You acknowledge that unauthorized scraping or automated access causes us significant harm that is difficult to quantify. Therefore, you agree that for each instance of unauthorized scraping or automated access, you will be liable to pay us Liquidated Damages of $500 per violation (or the maximum amount permitted by law), in addition to any actual damages we may incur from our data partners.
6. Our Content The Site design, text, graphics, and code are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, display, or redistribute our content without our prior written permission.
7. No Warranties & Data Accuracy THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION (INCLUDING STICKER DATA) ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
- Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy of any sticker (original or recreated). Recreated stickers are generated based on available VIN data and may not perfectly reflect the vehicle's original configuration or options.
- Not an Official Document: The stickers provided are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as official manufacturer documentation for legal or resale purposes.
- Service Uptime: We do not guarantee that the Site will work without interruption or errors.
8. Limitation of Liability TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ANY DATA PROVIDED.
- ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THIRD-PARTY TRANSACTIONS.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
9. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Monroney Sticker by VIN and its operators, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your use of the data provided to misrepresent a vehicle.
10. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, Massachusetts.
12. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when changes were made. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
